One of my favorite go to warps/pits/sandwiches! No joke I would eat this everyday if I could. Not to mention putting it together is pretty pain free as well :)
You can eat it without grilling it but it's not nearly as amazing, just a heads up.
I was motivated this morning and made a fresh batch of mixed nut butter just for this wrap |
Grown Up PB&J : Serves 1
- 1 whole wheat tortilla (or 1 pita pocket or 2 pieces of toast)
- 2T Nut Butter of your choice
- 1/2 of a small banana, sliced
- 1/2 of an apple cut into thin strips
- 1/2 c of berries of your choosing (you can use frozen, just make sure you thaw them first)
Pre-heat counter top grill. Lay tortilla flat on the counter, spead peanut butter over the top. Layer banana, then apple then berries. Roll up. Place on grill for 5-6 minutes. Let it cool for a minute or two before you bite into it.
